Police: Man Steals $15,000 Worth Of Jewelry At Gunpoint From Queens Store
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is searching for a suspect who held up a Queens jewelry store at gunpoint and got away with $15,000 worth of jewelry.
The incident occurred Friday shortly after 3:30 p.m. at A.D.L. Jewelers located on 39-38 Queens Boulevard.
Police said the man entered the jewelry store, pulled out a gun, and demanded gold, diamonds and watches from the 39-year-old jeweler.
Police said the jeweler complied and the suspect fled on foot eastbound on Queens Boulevard with $15,000 in jewelry.
