Pooch Fights Eviction
Charlie, a 3.5 pound teacup Yorkshire terrier won a three year battle against a Queens condo board that spent $100k to try to get him kicked out of his owner's apartment. Donna Forman, a 10-year resident of Village View Condos is happy at Charlie's underdog win. The fight started when the board sued Forman – claiming "no pets allowed," but a technicality turned the tables: The condo's bylaws say unit owners, their pets and guests shall not create a nuisance. By including the word "pets,", the rules implied that dogs that are not a nuisance are OK. CBS 2 talked to Donna about her long condo fight.
