Police Seek Man In Connection With Bank Robbery On Upper West Side

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A robbery at a Chase Bank on the Upper West Side has police asking for the public's help.

According to authorities, the suspect walked into the bank on Columbus Avenue between 67th and 68th streets around 4:25 p.m. and demanded money. He then fled with an unknown amount of cash.

No one was injured during the robbery, police said. But the bank did catch the man on surveillance video, and police are hoping the public can identify him.

Police described the suspect as a while man in his 30s and about 6 feet tall.
