Police Release Surveillance Of Brooklyn Elderly Robbery Suspect
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is asking for the public's help in identifying a suspect wanted in a robbery against an elderly woman.
Police say the suspect followed his victim, a 70-year-old Black woman into her apartment building in the Kensington section of Brooklyn around 6:30 p.m. on October 27, 2011. He allegedly stole three gold chains from her neck before fleeing the scene.
No injuries were reported in the encounter.
Police describe the suspect as a Black man of undetermined age.
