Police Nab Teen Suspect In S.I. Bias Attack
NEW YORK (CBS 2) -- In an effort to help heal a Staten Island community that's been rocked by bias attacks, Archbishop Timothy Dolan was set to celebrate mass Sunday at Saint Mary of the Assumption Church in Richmond Terrace.
Meantime, a suspect was under arrest in the latest incident. Yashua Plair, 17, was charged in the robbery of a 15-year-old hispanic teen in West Brighton.
Plair was accused of pulling a knife, shouting racial slurs at the victim and stealing his iPod.
The victim was not seriously hurt.
