Pregnant Woman, Child Among Those Struck In Paterson Hammer Attack
PATERSON, N.J. (CBSNewYork) -- Several people were hurt after a bizarre hammer assault in a Paterson bodega.
It happened on East Main Street and Haledon Ave shortly before 5 p.m. Monday.
Police said someone barged into the shop and started swinging a hammer at customers.
At least one child was struck in the head, and a pregnant woman was hit in the arm and the abdomen.
The suspect fled the location.
