Simms Surprised, Not Shocked, At Jets' Success

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- CBS Sports broadcaster and ex-Giants quarterback Phil Simms joined Boomer & Carton in-studio on Tuesday morning to break down the Jets' Sunday stunner over New England.

"I wasn't, like, shocked. Of course, a little surprised they won," Simms said. "I thought it would be close, I knew the Jets were going to change the way they were playing. And I just figured, hey, they'll be in it, but can they hold on at the end?"

What was the biggest play in the game, according to the CBS Sports analyst?

"The Jerricho Cotchery pass," explained Simms. "The Patriots made a big mistake in their pass coverage. He caught it, went across the field, made a nice run. To me, that was, there were so many big plays, but that was maybe the biggest."
