NYPD: Man Steals Puppy From Bronx Pet Store

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A man was caught on surveillance video stealing a dog from a pet store in the Bronx.

The NYPD said the suspect took a black and brown Tea Cup Yorkie puppy from a cage at R and K Dogs Grooming at 888 East Tremont Ave. and walked out of the store. The incident was reported to police on May 4 around 1:30 p.m.

The suspect is described as a 5-foot-8 male Hispanic who weighs around 220 pounds. He was last seen wearing a black-hooded sweater, a dark-colored baseball cap, light blue jeans and tan work boots.
