NYPD Harbor Unit pulls coyote out of East River

NEW YORK -- There was something fishy in the East River on Monday afternoon.

The NYPD Harbor Patrol thought they were responding to a distressed dog in the water. Instead, they saved a coyote.

The wild animal is now in the care of veterinarians.

It's unclear how the coyote got into the water.
