8/10 CBS2 Wednesday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Expect warm and muggy conditions this afternoon. There could be a downpour here and there, which could lead to some flooding, so keep an eye on those skies. Highs today will be in the mid 80s, but because of the humidity, it will feel like 90+°.

Evening storms will hang around and then fizzle out into the overnight hours. It will be another muggy one with temps falling into the mid 70s or so.

We'll take the highs up several degrees tomorrow... flirting with 90°. And when you combine that with the humidity, it will feel more like the upper 90s! As for shower and storm activity, expect another round, but mainly in the afternoon.

The story doesn't change much through the first half of this weekend with hot, humid, and unsettled conditions winning out.
