8/7 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines

What a difference a day makes! Just step outside and you'll feel what's missing... the humidity! Yesterday's cold front that brought a few storms is now well off the coast and drier air is being ushered in. Dew points will continue to drop so while we'll still be the upper 80s this afternoon, it'll feel much more comfortable.

Sunshine will rule both today and tomorrow. It'll still be mainly sunny Tuesday, but you'll notice the humidity starting to creep back up as we get into the evening. If you'll be spending time outdoors like me, grab the sunscreen... UV index is very high.

Wednesday will see a return to a more typical summer pattern with a muggy feel and some isolated storms. The unsettled stretch looks to continue through the end of the week with a chance of showers and thunderstorms each day.
