NY Philharmonic To Perform Free Concert On Eve Of 9/11 Anniversary
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- As New Yorkers and Americans come together this weekend to remember those lost in the 9/11 attacks, the NY Philharmonic is scheduled to perform a free concert on the eve of the tragic anniversary in remembrance of those who died.
The event, called "A Concert for New York," is free.

Set to take place Saturday at 7:30 p.m., the show will be broadcast on the radio and projected on a screen at Lincoln Center. On the evening of Sept. 11, the concert will air on PBS.
The performance will include Gustav Mahler's Symphony No. 2, the "Resurrection."
