NJ Gas Price Hits The $3 A Gallon Mark
HAMILTON, N.J. (AP) -- New Jersey gas prices have hit the $3 a gallon mark.
AAA Mid-Atlantic says the average price of regular gasoline in the Garden State hit the unwelcome level on Tuesday.
The current price is 47 cents a gallon more than a year ago, when the average was $2.53 a gallon.
Higher oil prices have raised gasoline pump prices above $3 a gallon in many parts of the country. AAA says the national average for regular gasoline on Tuesday was $3.07 a gallon, 41 cents higher than a year ago.
