5 students, security guard slashed in fight at Queens high school
NEW YORK -- Five students and one adult were injured when violence broke out at a Queens high school Wednesday, police say.
It happened at New Dawn Charter High School in Jamaica just before 1 p.m.
Police say five students and a security guard were slashed during a fight.
Officers detained several students for questioning.
None of the injuries are believed to be serious.
