Nets' Harris Exits Early With Sprained Left Shoulder
DALLAS (AP) — New Jersey guard Devin Harris missed the final three quarters of the Nets' game Thursday night against the Dallas Mavericks because of a sprained left shoulder.
Harris was injured in the first quarter when he tried to deflect an alley-oop pass and fell to the floor.
The Nets said in the second quarter that Harris, who played for the Mavericks from 2004-08, wouldn't return to the game. He was scoreless in 9:22 after entering the game with a 17.1-point average.
