3 Men Sought In Mount Hope, Bronx Attack, Robbery

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Police late Monday were searching for three suspects who attacked a pair of men with a knife and bottle, and stole one of the victims' gold chains, in the Bronx.

The suspects attacked the two men, ages 24 and 25, around 4:10 a.m. Monday in front of 301 E. Burnside Ave. in the Mount Hope section of the Bronx, police said.

They attacked the men with a knife and bottle, leaving the younger victim with cuts to his face and neck, and the older victim with cuts to his head, arms and back, police said. During the assault, one of the victims had his gold chain ripped from his neck, police said.

The suspects ran off through a nearby park and then headed west on Tremont Avenue, police said.

The suspects were all described as Hispanic males standing 5 feet 8 to 5 feet 10 inches tall and weighing 160 to 190 pounds. One was last seen wearing a red jacket, dark-colored pants and light colored sneakers, the second was last seen wearing a dark-colored jacket, dark-colored pants, a light-colored T-shirt and a multi-colored baseball cap, and the third was last seen wearing a dark-colored coat, dark-colored pants and a light-blue baseball cap.
