Moms In Bronxville Celebrating Mother's Day

BRONXVILLE, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) -- Moms in Bronxville are up to the usual Mother's Day activities – brunch with the family and a day at the salon.

But Rebecca Hewitt of Scarsdale had some business to tend to first.

"We just got my son's haircut – very exciting day. Something you can only do on a Sunday because there's no time during the week," Hewitt told WCBS 880's Stephanie Colombini.

When it comes to showing mom you care, sometimes actions speak louder than words.

When Hewitt's son was asked what he loved most about his mother, he said, "I don't really know."

"Thanks, honey," Hewitt responded. "The typical 9-year-old boy, but if my daughter was here she'd probably give you an entire soliloquy on motherhood."
