Mike Francesa On Fairleigh Dickinson's Quick Exit: 'Sometimes ... You Never Get Started'

NEW YORK (WFAN) -- WFAN's Mike Francesa opened his show Wednesday talking about Tuesday night's NCAA Tournament First Four games.

In those contests, Florida Gulf Coast routed Fairleigh Dickinson 96-65, and Wichita State beat Vanderbilt 70-50.

"Tough night for FDU," Francesa said. "Sometimes in the tournament you never get started. It happens. You just get hit with somebody's 'A' game, and it just never gets better."

As for Wichita State, "they didn't belong in that game last, but it doesn't matter. They won it anyway, so now they can move on and get ready to play what'll be a very tough first-round opponent. (Arizona)," Francesa said. "But it should be a heck of a game."
