Nick's is the kind of place you want as your neighborhood pizza place, even though they don't sell by the slice. The pizza here is made with love, and it shows in every pie, from the scattered fresh mozzarella to the intensely flavored sauce, or in the hand crafted toppings - try the meatball, and surprise yourself with huge slices of it. Every pie comes topped with fresh basil, carefully scattered across the piping hot thin crust pizza. Do yourself a favor and grab a pie today - and if you want some semblance of vegetables in your meal, add on a salad. You won't regret it.

Walking into Via Quadronno is akin to walking into a cafe in Italy; the intense aromas of wonderful food being prepared, along with the heady scent of freshly ground coffee, the chatter of people waiting for their food all mingle together to create a scene worth remembering. Descriptions of eating their exquisite panini cause even the most reserved to salivate, and the latte art is sure to cause a smile in even the most stoic of customers. For a special treat, try the do-it-yourself tiramisu; lady fingers, a cup of espresso, and sweetened mascarpone come to the table separately for you to assemble as you please in any manner.

Pies-n-Thighs is no stranger to what makes excellent fried chicken, and it's evident in everything that they serve. The focus is, of course, fried chicken, but for those who'd like to return to work without greasy smears across their face and the secret shame that is eating a box of fried chicken for a workday lunch, unable to stay awake after such a delicious, heavy lunch, there is the ever glorious chicken biscuit (pictured), for a mere $5.50. Though made with the bane of fried chicken - a breast cutlet - nestled onto one of Pies-n-Thighs' amazing, fluffy biscuits, and then generously doused in both hot sauce and huge pats of honey butter that melts over everything... there could be no greater earthly pleasure. None.
