18-year-old injured in Lower East Side shooting
NEW YORK -- Police are investigating after a young man was shot on the Lower East Side on Thursday.
It happened around 2:30 p.m. at the intersection of Rutgers Street and East Broadway.
Police say an 18-year-old was shot in the chest.
Several people were taken into custody.
