SOUTHAMPTON, N.Y. (CBSNewYork) – Severe weather triggered several waterspouts on Long Island.
Residents of Westhampton Beach shared photos and videos with CBS2, showing a funnel cloud emerging from the sky and spinning onto the water.
About seven waterspouts were spotted on Saturday morning.
