Knicks' Baron Davis To Miss Second Straight Game With Strained Hamstring
NEW YORK (WFAN) - Knicks point guard Baron Davis is hurting, and it will cost him his second straight game on Tuesday night. Davis will sit out against the Raptors at Madison Square Garden as he continues to nurse a strained right hamstring, says the New York Post.
Mike Bibby, who scored five points in 10 minutes in the Knicks' victory over the Pacers on Saturday night, is again expected to serve as the backup to Jeremy Lin on Tuesday.
It's been a frustrating first year in New York for Davis. The two-time former All-Star was forced to miss the first part of the shortened NBA season with a herniated disk.
Davis is averaging 4.8 points and 5.3 assists on the season.
