Horse Trailer Overturns After Being Struck By Car On Belt Parkway In Brooklyn
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A horse trailer overturned on the Belt Parkway in Brooklyn after police say it was hit by a car.
It happened just before 6 a.m. Wednesday on the westbound side near Coney Island Avenue.
Two horses were inside the trailer at the time. They were rescued by emergency crews.
Police say the horses had a few cuts of them, but they were seen walking along the highway and are expected to be OK.
