ALBANY, N.Y. (AP) -- A new kind of campaign is using strong language to describe New York's job crisis.
The ad for the Green Party asks the question, "Where are the (expletive) jobs?"
Young and old, men and women pose the probing question on park benches and sidewalks of New York in the TV ad campaign, rare in itself for a minor party.
The ad for Green Party governor's candidate Howie Hawkins opens with a narrator saying, "They say the recession is over." It then states corporations are reaping "record profits."
The ad goes on, "New York state want to know ... Where are the (expletive) jobs?"
The 30-second ads are beginning with a $7,000 buy in much of the state, outside the expensive New York City market.
