Fund For Fallen NYPD Officers' Families Raises $120,000
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork/AP) -- New York City Mayor Bill de Blasio is announcing that $120,000 has been raised to support the families of the two police officers who were shot to death in their patrol car.
De Blasio said Monday that the Mayor's Fund to Advance New York City has raised the money in pledges through the Fallen Heroes Relief Effort.

The relief effort was established in honor of Officers Wenjian Liu and Rafael Ramos. Companies including JPMorgan Chase & Co., Verizon, and AT&T have contributed.
De Blasio urged all New Yorkers to support the officers' families.
The two officers were gunned down in Brooklyn on Dec. 20. The gunman then killed himself.
Hundreds of police officers turned their backs to a video monitor as de Blasio spoke at Ramos' funeral on Saturday.
On Sunday, the Stephen Siller Tunnel to Towers Foundation announced it has raised $250,000 to pay the home mortgages for Ramos' and Liu's families. The total is about one-third of what is needed.
