LISTEN: Francesa Reveals 'Mike & The Mad Dog' Reunion Show Raised Over $1 Million For Charity

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- Mike Francesa opened Thursday's show talking about the already legendary "Mike & the Mad Dog" reunion show that took place Wednesday night to benefit the Garden of Dreams Foundation.

"Let me first thank everybody who showed up last night. The audience, the fans, that was great. It was a tremendous bit of generosity to support the charity," Francesa said.

Francesa thanked the Madison Square Garden and Radio City Music Hall staffs for helping put the event together.

"They all did a wonderful job. Thank you, of course, to those who were there who made it a very special night," Francesa said.

Francesa said the reunion show with Chris Russo raised over $1 million for the charity.
