12/13 CBS2 Sunday Afternoon Weather Headlines

Good afternoon, folks! Another day of record-breaking warmth across the region, as temps top out some 15-20 degrees above normal. If we climb higher than 64 in the Central Park, we break the daily record set back in 1923. Clouds will continue to dominate into this evening with only the slightest chance of a quick sprinkle.
Mostly cloudy skies overnight as temps stay mild in the upper 40s and low 50s. Expect some fog and drizzle to enter the picture heading into the morning hours and even some light showers for your Monday morning commute.
After another warm day in the low 60s, the better chance of rain moves in during the evening ahead of a cold front. There may even be a rumble of thunder or two! If you're headed out tomorrow night, you'll wanna grab the umbrella.
It clears out and stays breezy behind the front for Tuesday, with temps in the upper 50s. Guess we can say it'll be getting "colder" for midweek, but we'll still be 10+ degrees above normal by midweek. So where's the December chill? Looks like we'll get a taste by next weekend!
