De Blasio Tweets 'Throwback Thursday' Picture Of His NYU Days
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) - Just a day after saying he hasn't smoked marijuana since he was at NYU, Mayor Bill de Blasio is giving the world a better idea of what that might've looked like.
On Thursday, he tweeted a picture of his younger self taken while he was at NYU.
On Wednesday, de Blasio was asked about his marijuana use after former NYPD detective Bo Dietl reportedly insinuated on a television program it was the cause of his recurrent lateness.
Back in November, the city changed its approach to low level marijuana arrests in a plan backed by the de Blasio administration.
De Blasio said at the time he was not in favor of the full legalization of marijuana.
