Damien Woody Plans To Play On Monday
FLORHAM PARK, N.J. (AP) — New York Jets right tackle Damien Woody expects to play in the team's game at New England on Monday night despite not practicing while recovering from a sprained knee ligament.
Woody sprained the medial collateral ligament in his right knee against Houston on Nov. 21, but was able to play four days later in New York's 26-10 win over Cincinnati.
Wide receiver Jerricho Cotchery is listed as limited in practice Thursday. He has missed the Jets' last two games with a slight groin tear, but expects to return against the Patriots.
Defensive end Shaun Ellis (knee) and defensive backs Dwight Lowery (concussion) and Marquice Cole (left hamstring) were also limited.
