Cops: Suspect Boarded Bronx Bus, Assaulted Driver

NEW YORK(CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD has asked the public for help in locating a man wanted in connection with an assault that took place on a BX36 bus in the Bronx.

At 8 p.m. on January 13, the suspect boarded a bus near Bryant Ave and East 174th Street and, following a dispute with the driver, punched him in the face causing a minor injury.

Anyone with information regarding this incident has been asked to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS[8477]. The public can also submit tips by logging on to the Crime Stoppers website at www.nypdcrimestoppers.com or by texting their tips to 274637 [CRIMES] and entering TIP577.
