Outage knocks out power to 15,000 Brooklyn residents
NEW YORK -- A major outage knocked out power to 15,000 Brooklyn residents Tuesday.
Chopper 2 was over Spring Creek Towers, which used to be known as Starrett City.
Around 2 p.m., power went out in nearly all 46 of the towers.
The facility has its own power source.
The cause of the outage is unknown at this time.
