Worker In Critical Condition After Brooklyn Construction Accident
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- A construction worker is in critical condition after falling 15 feet into a hole.
Chopper 2 was over the work site on Schenectady Avenue in the Wingate section of Brooklyn.
Investigators said a backhoe hit a utility pole, setting off the tragic chain reaction.
The pole smashed into a fence and knocked the worker into the trench.
