Video: Man Steals Triathlon Bicycle In Front Of Brooklyn Brewery, Cops Say
NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- The NYPD is looking for a man who was caught on surveillance video removing a specialized triathlon bicycle from a public rack in Brooklyn on Nov. 8.
According to police, the suspect removed the chain off the bicycle and took it off a bike rack in front of the Brooklyn Brewery in Williamsburg at around 4:10 p.m. The suspect then fled the scene, according to police.
The suspect is described as approximately 30 to 40 years old, wearing a green hooded jacket, gray jeans and black sneakers, according to police.
The NYPD is asking anyone with information about the incident to call Crime Stoppers at 1-800-577-TIPS. All calls are confidential.
