'Bottle Poppers' Caught On Video Stealing Liquor From Inwood Restaurant

NEW YORK (CBSNewYork) -- It's a restaurant, not a liquor store.

The Northern Manhattan Restaurant & Lounge Association is warning other restaurants about two men they said stole liquor worth hundreds from Papasito Restaurant on 223 Dyckman St.

The group has dubbed the suspects "The Bottle Poppers," and says they made off with bottles of Hennessy, Grey Goose and Ciroc, among others.

"Our fear is now knowing whether the burglars are armed or not. We are warning all local businesses to be aware of these two guys. The video clearly shows the bold way they perform. We need to get these guys arrested," Wendy Hernandez, partner at Papasito Restaurant, said in a statement.

After stealing the bottles, the suspects took off on the A train at Dyckman and Broadway, according to the group.

There is a $1,000 reward for the arrest and conviction of the suspects.
