Missing man Branson Oduor seen on video outside of bar in Baltimore's Fells Point
A man who was reported missing was last seen outside of a bar in Baltimore's Fells Point, video shows.
According to police, 27-year-old Branson Oduor was last seen around 1 a.m. on Saturday, April 4, in the 1600 block of Thames Street.
Police describe Oduor as 5 feet 9 inches tall, weighing about 150 pounds. He was last seen wearing a dark colored jacket and a white and tan hat, officers said.
Baltimore Police say Oduor was officially reported missing on Sunday, April 5, 2026, at around 12:19 p.m. Since that time, the Baltimore Police Department's Southern District Missing Persons Unit, along with the Central District and the Citywide Missing Persons Unit, has been searching for him.
Anyone with information about Oduor's whereabouts is asked to call police at 410-396-2499 or by dialing 911.
The department has recovered video footage from area CCTV cameras that show Branson was last seen running northbound on South Broadway from Fleet Street.
Detectives are continuing to identify and review additional CCTV footage in an effort to track his movements.
Family and friends search for Oduor
According to Oduor's family and friends, he was seen riding an electric bike Saturday morning. The bike was found by police Wednesday morning near the 600 block of South President Street thanks to an Apple AirTag.
According to Costa, security in the area stopped Branson Oduor on his bike early Saturday morning.
"It's a nightmare knowing that your son is missing and you're doing everything you can but nothing," said Millicent Odour, Brandon's mother.
Oduor's mother said she got a phone call from his girlfriend on Sunday saying he was not answering his phone.
"I was surprised, because he's not…it's not like him," Millicent Odour said. "Even when he's busy, you will text him or call him, and then he will call you back immediately. But he didn't call. So, I was like, something must be wrong. It's unlike him."
Millicent Odour said her only son wasn't doing anything out of the ordinary Friday night into early Saturday morning when he went out.
"He is responsible, friendly, outgoing, somebody that you want to be a friend to — he's a good boy," Millicent Odour said.
Millicent said her heart nearly stopped when Branson's girlfriend, Emily Costa, called her on Sunday to say that her son was missing.
"It was March Madness. I think he just wanted to go out and enjoy the games. It just might have gotten carried away, because it's not like him to do this," said Costa.
When was Oduor last seen?
Video from the night that Oduor was last seen shows him outside of the Fells Point bar, The Horse You Came In On. Oduor is seen in the video talking to a few people while wearing a dark jacket and a white hat.
According to his girlfriend, Oduor went out with friends on Friday night and stayed out late.
"From 11 o'clock until closing, they had to escort him out, and then we have camera footage," Costa said. "We did find out that someone was willing. They tried to help him get into an Uber, but he declined it that night."
Oduor's girlfriend called for a wellness check later that day and discovered he was not at home.
Costa explained that Branson just started a new job two weeks ago. He moved to Baltimore from Germantown, Maryland, a few years ago.
Costa said he loves to run and participated in the Baltimore Half Marathon in 2025. He went out Friday night with a friend just as anyone would've but he did not return her calls and texts the next day.
"I just don't know where he is," said Costa.
Oduor's aunt said their entire family is heartbroken and hoping for answers. They believe his phone is dead.
"It's so difficult to see my sister, what she's going through. She can't sleep, and I don't know how to help her," said Esther Wanga, Branson's aunt.
"I am just asking for help. Anybody who can help me to get my son back. And if he's anywhere with somebody, somebody is holding him. Please just give us a call. We are willing to do whatever it takes to bring him home safe," said Millicent Odour.
She told WJZ on Wednesday that Branson's father is returning from a business trip in Kenya to help with the search.
The investigation remains open and ongoing, according to police.
Anyone who has seen Branson Oduor or has information regarding his whereabouts is asked to contact Southern District detectives at 410-396-2499.
