JPP's Thumb Is Now A Concern, Rashad Jennings Is Sorry And More

With the Giants finding themselves in the headlines once again following the news that Jason Pierre-Paul is apparently missing a portion of his outermost digit on his right hand, Boomer & Craig got the ball rolling Wednesday morning discussing the plight of JPP and the Giants.

Furthermore, Big Blue running back Rashad Jennings expressed regret. He penned an essay and issued apologies for "throwing Eli Manning under the bus" in relation to Sunday night's "time management debacle." So that, too, was discussed.

Not to be left out, there was some action on the baseball diamond involving the locals. The Mets lost to the Marlins down in Miami, 9-3, and the Yanks came up short against the Rays in Tampa, falling 6-3.  The crosstown rivals will lock horns for a three-game set at Citi Field starting Friday, but Bombers slugger Alex Rodriguez will be relegated to a pinch-hitting role due to the lack of a DH. Craig thinks that might be a problem.
