First, Boomer and Craig provided an update with regards to Wednesday's True Blue Charity Softball Game at Yankee Stadium, which promises to be a special night.

Then it was up to Jerry Recco to deliver his first update of the week, which he did in a manner we've all become familiar with.

Jerry began with the story surrounding the Mets, who after losing two in a row to the Marlins turned to Bartolo Colon and the got the result they were looking for, avoiding the sweep with a 4-3 win.  Colon did it with both his arm and his bat (legging out a double), as Boomer and Craig noted that the Mets have a pretty good-hitting pitching staff.

Plus, The Yankees lost 3-0 to the A's Sunday and dropped three of four in Oakland overall, Josh Hamilton is getting his groove back with the Rangers, Jerry has a  bad back, Boomer takes issue with Jerry mentioning the Rangers' loss, Craig asks Al Dukes to book Henrik Lundqvist as a guest on the radio program, Rex Ryan is doing all the right things up in Buffalo, Matt Simms signs with Rex's Bills and Kevin Love says he plans on returning to Cleveland next season...
