Boomer & Carton: Championship Aspirations, Planning Parenthood, The State Of The NBA And More

After coming up short in last year's World Series, the Mets are approaching this season with a whole new attitude and championship aspirations.

Boomer & Carton both love the Amazins' newfound confidence and got their wildly popular radio show started Wednesday morning with a little baseball talk.

Mets right-hander Jacob deGrom is one of the players confident about a return to the Fall Classic and the 27-year-old and his wife are expecting their first child during the first week in April, which coincides with the opening week of the season. That combination left Craig with a few questions about planning a family.

Speaking of questions, the NBA trade deadline is Thursday at 3 p.m., so the guys discussed what might happen with Carmelo Anthony and the Knicks. They then talked about how year in and year out the majority of teams really have no chance to win a title -- and that is kind of a problem.
