B&C Show Blog & Audio: Pre-Game Festivities

No matter what team you root for, Sunday was just an unbelievable day of football. Take it from me, I'm a Bengals fan and despite that I had a very enjoyable experience watching all of the action on the gridiron (and the Knicks) yesterday.  The Giants won a snoozer over the Redskins as Brandon Jacobs and Ahmad Bradshaw ran all over the Skins' porous defense.  Big Blue's defense also kept their good play going, allowing just seven points as the Giants won by a final score of 31-7. They now find themselves tied with the Eagles for the top spot in the NFC East with a record of 8-4 and the Vikings on the horizon.  So early on it was all about the Giants, but don't worry Jets fans, you'll have your turn as Gang Green gets ready for a game in New England tonight against the Pats.  And oh yeah, Derek Jeter and the Yankees reach an agreement to keep the Captain in pinstripes…

Plus, Craig predicts when the Jets will clinch a playoff berth and Jerry updates the day that was in sports, Craig envisions the Jets emerging from New England as the new 'beasts of the NFL', Boomer plays the role of 'Mega-Buzz-Kill', just a great day of NFL action, hot chicks known by one name, Al 'Hughes' Dukes and 'the' Eddie Scozzare make some 'audible chocolate', Jerry offers his Moment of the Day and an 'Attention Grabber' from across the pond…

While the guys were talking about the remaining schedules for both the Giants and the Jets, Craig had an epiphany and predicts the Jets will clinch a playoff berth on December 12^th with a win over the Dolphins at the New Meadowlands.  Then we heard a couple of ideas Craig's kids had for his comic name before Jerry delivered his very first update of the week…

After talking about the Giants and their win over the Redskins yesterday, when the 7 o'clock hour rolled around it was all about Gang Green and their battle with the Patriots tonight  in Foxboro.  Craig was feeling pretty confident that the Jets will somehow manage to get a win and if/when that happens, according to him, they will be the clear cut 'beast of the NFL'.  Craig's radio partner, who also played 14 years in the league, became what Craigie called a 'Mega-Buzz-Kill' when commenting on Craig's bold prediction…

Although the Giants got the win, their game against the Redskins offered very little drama, which was okay because like I said they won and there was plenty of other action around the rest of the league to keep you on the edge of your seat…

Al & Eddie were on their game today as they belted out their latest Jets song, set to Aerosmith's 1987 hit, 'Dude (Looks Like a Lady)' LIVE.  They're calling their rendition, 'Dude Lets Beat Tom Brady' and it was both well written and rather catchy…
