B&C Show Blog & Audio: Isiah's Back in the NY Groove

Bobby Dwyer

After a brief stint in 2nd place, the Yankees righted the ship over the weekend, taking 2 of 3 from the Red Sox, and in the process have seen their lead in the AL East balloon to 2 ½ games over the Tampa Bay Rays.  The Mets dropped 2 of 3 to the Philadelphia Phillies (Holla!!!) and now sit 9 games behind the 1st place Braves in the NL East and according to Boomer and Craig, have officially become unwatchable.  Speaking of unwatchable teams, the Knicks have brought Isiah Thomas back on board and based on his track record with the team, B&C were in lock-step in thinking that this could be one of the worst moves in the history of professional sports…

Plus, an historically bad few years for the Mets and Craig thanks God for the Yankees, Isiah's checkered resume – Big League Boomer & Al Dukes joins a co-ed flag football league, listener Lauren parlays her crush on Craigie into a bunch of Yankees tickets, Frank Isola chimes in on the Isiah 're-hiring', Jerry Recco offers his Moment of the Day and a Canadian 'Attention Grabber' who proves to be too 'Mutch'…

(Thank God for the Yanks).  After all of that we heard about the impressive spread of food Jerry had for a little Christening party he hosted at his home for his son Joseph over the weekend, prior to his very first update of the Show…

Al got a call from a listener named Lauren, she told him that she had a huge crush on Craigie and she wanted to come onto the Show and tell him about the crush in front of her boyfriend.  Craig figured since she made the trip, he should give her some Yankee ticket for her troubles, but he made her earn them…
