He's BACK…After a long, drawn-out, well publicized hold-out, Darrelle Revis signed with the Jets over the Holiday Weekend and all things are good in the land of Gang Green.  As a Jets fan, Craig could not be happier, Boomer on the other hand could not understand why this contract wasn't signed two or three months ago.  The guys break down the new contract and what it means for the highly touted Jets defense.  Boomer took in a Maryland-Navy game yesterday and told us all about it, despite Craig's pleas for him to stop.  After Boomer was done babbling he delivered a beat down to Al Dukes and got his point across that the Yanks have lost two games in a row since the return of Alex Rodriguez.  All of this to open up a very important Show, as today marks the start of year number four, that this thing we call the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza has been on the air…

Plus, Jerry Recco updates us on the process and we find out what Jerry Manuel really thinks about his orally fixated starting pitcher, Darrelle Revis talks about the tough process he went through and how he wouldn't wish upon anyone, Archie Manning brags about his sons, John Cena pays the guys an in-studio visit, Jets G.M. Mike Tannenbaum calls in to talk about the Revis deal, Jerome Bettis chimes in about the upcoming N.F.L. season, Jerry delivers a humbling Moment of the Day and I accept praise for my top-notch 'Attention Grabber'...

Prior to Jerry's first update of the day, Craig's complaints about his injured digit fell on deaf ears.  He whined on and on about how it will likely never be the same, but Boomer and Jerry showed him no sympathy.  Then Jerry got to his update, which was highlighted by Mike Tannenbaum outlining the 'process' that went into getting Darrelle Revis back in Green & White and Jerry Manuel telling SNY's Kevin Burkhardt that Mike Pelfrey could be described as an 'enigma', which of course Craig had a ball with..

As far as fatherhood, who's got it better than Archie Manning???  Rhetorical question folks…In addition to being the father of Peyton and Eli Manning, Archie had a pretty good playing career himself, so he made for the perfect guest this Tuesday morning as everyone is starting to get ready for the N.F.L. season, which kicks-off Thursday night in New Orleans, the same city that Archie played in for 12 of his 14 year N.F.L. career…

WWE superstar John Cena stopped by this morning and visited with Boomer and Craig in-studio to promote his new movie 'Legendary'.  As you can see by the photo above, Cena was dressed to the nines and he was really forthcoming during the chat with B&C…

With the Darrelle Revis contract talk dominating the majority of the conversation, the guys wanted to talk with a man who was there throughout the negotiations.  Since Al could not track down Revis, he opted to make a call to the Jets and low and behold, the G.M. of the team, Mike Tannenbaum joined the Program just prior to the 9 o'clock hour…
