B&C Morning Show: When Will Ike Davis Return?
After listening to Boomer & Craig talk at-length about the Yankees' fall from first place, Jerry "Rello" Recco knew where to begin his firs update, with the Bombers' second straight loss to the Kansas City Royals.
We heard great Yankees radio play-by-play man John Sterling describe the Bombers' play on the field as terrible, a pretty accurate description from Sterling, who sometimes struggles with accurate descriptions. Tonight the Red Sox come to town and the Yankees will look to Bartolo Colon to make things right, while Boston will give the ball to Clay Buchholz.
The Mets got 3 home runs courtesy of Carlos Beltran and hardly missed the services of David Wright and Ike Davis. Wright should return to the line-up tonight, but as far as Ike, it could be a while. Boomer & Craig talk about the first baseman's injury and speculate when he might return...
