B&C Morning Show: Two Different Worlds - Jets Repair While Giants Prepare
Due to their own deficiencies, the Jets have stolen some of the Giants' headlines this week, as Big Blue prepares to take on the Green Bay Packers this Sunday evening at the historic Lambeau Field.
Two different worlds indeed.
Boomer & Craig began today's radio program actually talking about a similarity between the two New York football teams, as some Giants players seem to be following the blueprint laid out by Rex Ryan and his Gang Green, as Hakeem Nicks and the Giants receiving corps are feeling pretty good about their ability to beat the Green Bay secondary and don't mind tellin' ya'.
As for for the disgruntled Jets, with the season behind them, it appears the fun is just beginning. With the hiring of Tony Sparano to replace the departed Brian Schottenheimer and hints that Todd Haley is soon to follow, Craig believes this is a sign of panic from GM Mike Tannenebaum.
Craig went on to explain that Sporano, Haley and Tannenbaum all have ties to Bill Parcells and he doesn't like it one bit. Could this be a form of punishment for Rex Ryan, who admitted to losing the pulse of his team following their disappointing 8-8 finish? Boomer & Craig discuss.
