B&C Morning Show: Tortorella Gets Desperate, Calls For Divine Intervention
The Devils and the Rangers will drop the puck tonight at MSG for Game 5 of the Eastern Conference finals, but until then the game will be dissected every which way imaginable, beginning right here on today's edition of this wildly popular thing we've all come to know as the Boomer & Carton Morning Extravaganza.
The Rangers' difficulties scoring goals this postseason have been very well documented, when asked how they might reverse their fortunes, outspoken Blueshirts head coach John Tortorella insinuated that he will turn to a higher power and 'pray.'
Whether or not Torts was serious when he mentioned the need for 'divine intervention' is up for debate, a debate Boomer & Craig were more than willing to have. The Booms claiming the comment was made 'tongue in cheek' while Craig believed it to be a sign of desperation from his old buddy Torts.
So it was a rather contentious open to today's radio program, as Craig did everything in his power to get under Boomer's skin, knowing full well his partner was on edge because of tonight's game.
