B&C Morning Show: Tony Meola Joins Boomer & Carton In The Allstate Studio
Boomer's old friend and teammate (with the Jets), Tony Meola, made the trip into Manhattan today to say hello to the fellas.
Meola gained fame in the early 1990's while playing goalie for the United States national team and he parlayed that into a tryout with the Jets as a place kicker in 1994, the same year the Blonde Bomber was quarterbacking the Green and White. In addition to all of that, Meola was drafted by the New York Yankees out of high school, so needless to say he is a pretty good athlete.
He joined Boomer & Craig to talk about his career and even offered a few thoughts on the NFL lockout coming to an end...
