B&C Morning Show: Tim Tebow Is A Jet, Now What?
After eventually getting around to reading the 'fine print' of the contract, Jets GM Mike Tannenbaum completed the trade that made Tim Tebow a member of the New York Jets, now let the circus begin.
Craig is not happy, not happy at all. He said that the way they handled this transaction - from start to finish - firmly establishes the Jets franchise as the undisputed 'clowns' of the NFL.. Craig went on to call the attention grabbing move a joke and mocked Tannenbaum & company for their inability to understand the contract, in-turn holding up the deal.
As for Boomer, he eloquently stated that after 'passing' on Peyton Manning, the Jets needed to get a quarterback to back-up Mark Sanchez, and boy-oh-boy did they get one. The guys talked about what role Tebow will play for the Jets and one has to wonder how Sanchez feels about the move, which has to have the Jets 'starting QB' a little perplexed.
According to Boomer, the lesson to be learned here is that the Jets are not to be trusted, while Craig thinks the decision makers might be insane. Craigie was able to find one silver lining - with the addition of Tebow, the Jets can now boast that they have the two best-looking QB's in the NFL, which could help some some PSL's
