B&C Morning Show: Tebow Speaks, Sanchez Reacts And Knicks Have Concerns
With the hoopla surrounding yesterday's press conference to introduce Tim Tebow as the Jets' new 'backup QB,' Boomer & Craig opened up today's radio program by reacting to the 40-minute media session that was covered like no other.
First off it was evident that Tebow is 'excited' to be a Jet. He said it 44 times. Through the excitement though, Tebow came across very well, appearing very confident and polished in front of the bright lights the Big Apple offers.
Mark Sanchez also spoke to media members via a conference call, which Boomer heard. The Blonde Bomber told us what he took from Sanchez's comments. Like his 'backup' Tebow, Sanchez too is very polished. He claimed to be fine with Tebow's arrival, but at this point only time will tell.
Speaking of time, all indications are that it will be some time until Amar'e Stoudemire returns to the Knicks' lineup, as an MRI revealed that the power forward has a bulging disc (Hi Al Trautwig) in his back and is out indefinitely. Jeremy Lin missed last night's game with a sore left knee and Carmelo Anthony tweaked his groin his the third quarter, but did continue to play. Despite all of that the Knicks beat the Bucks 89-80 and with the win, now hold a 2.5 game lead over Milwaukee for the 8th playoff spot in the East.
In addition to all of that, Tiger Woods' former swing coach Hank Haney is sore with his former pupil for not sharing his blow pops...
