B&C Morning Show: Rex Ryan's Heartfelt Voicemail (To Craig)
Mere moments following yesterday's announcement that the NFL lockout was a thing of the past, Rex Ryan was already flapping his gums. Craig - among other Jets fans - were recipients of a heartfelt voicemail message that has Craigie all sorts fired up about Gang Green.
Then Jerry began his update. We all about the new NFL deal, and as far as the new collective bargaining agreement goes (this one has a 10-year shelf life), so if nothing else it will be a long time before we are forced to go down this road again. For that, I think everyone is thankful. Moving forward there will be a whole lotta damage control to win back the fans and Craig offered a few suggestions.
We also got to hear all about the Yankees' 10-3 pounding of the hapless Mariners, as John Sterling once again failed to look at his lineup card but that didn't stop him from calling the action on the field.
As for the Mets, they beat the Reds 4-2 thanks to a 2-run double in the 7th off the bat of Daniel Murphy. Following the game Mike Pelfrey was asked about his teammate Carlos Beltran's future and Big Pelf had a pretty telling response...
