B&C Morning Show: Reviewing The Giants' Journey; Updating Recco Style
With the inconsistency of both teams, Sunday's Giants-Cowboys game is a tough one to predict. With that in mind, Boomer & Craig took some time to reflect on the journey taken by both teams to get to where they are today.
From there Jerry Recco did his update thing, beginning with the Giants and the news that center David Bass is still out with migraine-type headaches. We got to listen to Tom Coughlin address the serious nature of Baas' ailment and a fired-up Eli Manning talked about how much fun this all is. Antrel Rolle says winning the game is as easy as playing like a Giant.
As for the Giants' opponent Sunday night, we heard from Cowboys head coach Jason Garrett as he responded to some commentary courtesy of Bill Cowher, questioning how the Cowboys finished off last Sunday's 19-13 loss to the Cardinals. Garrett was also asked about the Giants dominance in the new Stadium, having won the only two meetings since it opened two-years ago.
Meanwhile the Jets are busy preparing for the Kansas City Chiefs, or if you listen to Darrell Revis you may be lead to believe that Rex's Gang Green is looking right past the 5-7 Chiefs, as the Jets cornerback referred to Sunday's match-up as a 'trap game.' The Jets will take on the Eagles in Philadelphia in Week 15 (12/18).
One thing we know for sure, when the Jets take the field against the Chiefs, Eagles or anyone else - mega offensive consultant Tom Moore will be on the sideline, this was announced yesterday by Rex Ryan. Like Craig, Mark Sanchez is happy to have Moore around to help out.
