B&C Morning Show: Recapping A Stellar Sunday; Wet Grass Limits Derek Jeter

The great Jerry "Rello" Recco checked in for his first update of the morning, and he had lots of good stuff to report from the local baseball scene. Both the Yankees and Mets came away with wins on Sunday, as the Yanks remained in 1st place and the Mets once again reached the .500 mark.

But not all of the news was great out of Yankees camp. Derek Jeter was unable to get his jogging in yesterday down in Florida. Why is that you ask? Well because the grass was too wet of course. Craig is baffled that there wasn't some way to work around this issue.

Also Dillon Gee got a chance to pitch in his home state of Texas, and in doing so improved his record to 8-1 on the year.

In other news from around the league, the Marlins lost to the Mariners in a particularly strange way on Sunday. You can hear the radio play-by-play of what happens when an intentional walk turns into a game-changing wild pitch. Just another day in the life of a Florida Marlins fan I guess...
